About Mount Olive
Mount Olive Pentecostal Church of Faith was incorporated in June of 1977 and birthed out in Ministry in January of 1978.The work of Mount Olive began at 210 Rogers Avenue, Brooklyn New York, where their very first location was leased and dedicated for worship. The body of Mount Olive worshiped at 210 Rogers for about five years before moving to their new location at 830 Utica Avenue, Brooklyn NY, and has been there since.
By the leading of the Holy Spirit, the Late Bishop Dr. Randolph Austin founded and served as Senior Pastor of Mount Olive. In recognition of the need to spiritually uplift and qualify men and women for the Gospel, Bishop Austin diligently and faithfully followed the leading of the Holy Spirit in formulating and carrying out this might work of God. Mount Olive serves to provide community service as the board of directors deem necessary and appropriate. It also serves to provide service to members of the community and the organization's affiliated member churches.
We, the members of Mount Olive, seek to promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ and in doing so, draw men and women into the Kingdom of God. In agreeance with the vision of the Founder of this great work, our vision is to present a ministry that portrays Jesus Christ in his life, work and teachings. We desire to reach out to all people in a creative, credible and caring manner. We also desire to be and is working faithfully to be a growing community, passionately modeling the life of Christ through relationships with seekers and believers. Mount Olive warmly welcomes any and everyone to feel free to come, worship and experience the glory of God in his sanctuary.
